Today, we’ll be talking about a new private-aviation club designed to sit above fractional-ownership programs such as NetJets. Its membership tells us something revealing about who is getting rich now (and how old they are), and what they want once flying private is no longer exclusive enough.
I also have the cover of today’s New York Times Sunday Styles section (my eighth section cover for the paper in the past decade across three different sections) on Sammy Nussdorf, the 29-year-old founder of Meadow Lane. We talk about his addiction and recovery, how he turned a Tribeca grocery store into a genuine phenomenon, and asked Bobby Flay makes of the whole thing.
