It looks like Maison Estelle finally has a New York address.
I know I am giving away the reveal in the headline. Normally I would make you wait until after the jump, but there is enough going on here that I figured I could afford to spoil it. There’s Maison Estelle’s own liquor-license lawyers confirming the location, the very interesting sequence of events that led them to this particular building, and a brand-new New York liquor-license category for for-profit private members’ clubs that only took effect in February 2026 (did you guys even know that existed? I didn’t until writing this letter). And then, of course, there is the drama currently unfolding at Maison Estelle in London. If you missed that, I would suggest reading Friday’s RPS letter here.
What is most surprising is that the New York location, in the legendary Limelight building, has not been reported before now. (As in, at this very moment.) I suspect it got buried in all the attention around Maison Estelle’s attempt to take over the Sistina townhouse on the Upper East Side, which RPS reported on earlier this year. As it turns out, while that was playing out uptown, Maison Estelle was already working on another plan downtown.
