Just when you thought New York had enough members clubs, three more are on the way. At this point, it’s hard to imagine who in New York would still need one, but the people opening them seem convinced there are plenty. The latest additions include a London institution making its New York debut, another Soho House in a building that already has a members club, and a $50 million Fifth Avenue mansion with ties to the owner of the Ritz London. There have been some interesting developments with all three, including an announcement RPS broke yesterday. More on what’s coming and who’s behind it after the jump.

And for those who constantly yell at me for talking about members’ clubs too much (yes, I hear you), there’s a lot more going on: resting heart rates as status symbols, Barbara Kruger at the Bourse de Commerce, the most influential American Girl doll, more controversy at Windham Mountain Club, a statement from David Solomon, and a major art collection heading to Christie’s following the death of its 108-year-old owner. Plus, a map of nearly three dozen of the biggest New York members clubs, including a handful that have yet to open.
